HR Performance Management Perfection with the Right Software Tools
Emphasizing the role of modern hr performance management enables an organization. This transformation is key to evolving and driving its success.
When it comes to training, this learning process often involves a lot of communication between training participants. This communication may be needed at any training stage: before the training (attendees may have some questions or suggestions before the training, while the organizer may have an announcement for everybody), during the training (to discuss the training topic or to create minutes of a meeting, for example), and after the training (post-mortem discussion, questions, future plans, etc.). The organizer may need to share some information, required for the training, such as the course guide.
To facilitate this process and make life easier for everybody engaged in training in Lanteria HR, we are introducing a Discussion Board feature. A discussion board is a special page where training participants can discuss any topics, both in the general and in a private discussion, as well as view other training-related information, such as announcements, course guides, training details, etc.
You can access the training discussion board from the development plan (the link under the training development activity) or from the training details page as soon as you have been added as a participant in training.
Discussions in the discussion board are allowed at any time before, during, or after the training.
On the discussion board, the following sections are available:
In the upper left corner, you can see the training details, such as the training title, training date and time, location, meeting room, available seats, and organizer email.
Shows the guide for this training, which may contain any text information as well as images, hyperlinks, etc. A course guide can be added by HR, Training Manager, Local Training Manager (must be an event participant or be assigned to the related learning material), Internal Trainer (must be assigned to the related learning material).
HR, Training Manager, Local Training Manager (must be an event participant or be assigned to the related learning material), or Internal Trainer (must be assigned to the related learning material) can click Manage Attendees to open the Training Event Details page where you can add or remove attendees, add them to the waiting list, etc.
.
The announcements sections display written statements that inform the participants about something. Announcements can be added by HR, Training Manager, Local Training Manager (must be an event participant or be assigned to the related learning material), or Internal Trainer (must be assigned to the related learning material).
The General Discussion Board section contains discussions visible to all training event participants. A general discussion can be initiated by any participant. Next to each discussion, the number beside the chat icon shows how many posts were made in this discussion.
This section contains private discussions – discussions with a limited number of selected participants. A private discussion can be initiated by any participant. Next to each private discussion, the number beside the chat icon shows how many posts were made in this discussion.
This section is used to add a general or private discussion.
The Pinned checkbox can be selected if you want your general discussion to be pinned at the top of the General Discussion Board section. The pinned discussion has the Pin icon next to the title.
Select the All Participants checkbox to have this discussion available for the training event participants or clear it and specify specific participants from the event attendees list, who will be able to see and take part in this private discussion.
A discussion title can be clicked to see its posts as well as to post something new in that discussion.
HR, Training Manager, Local Training Manager (must be an event participant or be assigned to the related learning material), or Internal Trainer (must be assigned to the related learning material) can hide a discussion if necessary. A message in a discussion can be deleted only by its author.
The Discussion Board is an easy-to-use all-in-one tool to manage any training-related communication in a single place.
